Brandy M. Andersson has been practicing in the courtroom since 2002. She began her career as a felony criminal prosecutor and transitioned to civil practice in 2009. After working in the area of Domestic Violence (DV) for over ten years, Brandy is knowledgeable about the many manifestations and aspects that are unique to DV cases. In addition, Brandy has negotiated and settled many cases that, though they did not involve DV, were contentious in nature. Not all cases are fractious and these cases will receive efficient and detail-oriented attention to ensure an accurate conclusion.
Formerly of Eastside Legal Assistance Program (where she still serves as a volunteer attorney in the legal clinics), Brandy is also a member of the King County Bar Association, including its Family Law Section, she is a Title 26 Guardian ad Litem (King and Snohomish County Registries.
She has presented CLEs in the area of Family Law as well as Domestic Violence. A graduate of University of Missouri (BA, History), Brandy has a JD from Gonzaga University School of Law and an LL.M. in Tax Law from University of Washington School of Law. In her spare time, Brandy enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling and playing soccer.
